Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I see a lot of uses for Miro in our current project, but the one I'm using most at this moment is to map out the layout of an exhibition space. I placed the fllor plan as a background in Miro, locked it so it wouldn't move. And now I'm drawing the exhibitions and using layers to separate lighting, seating areas, fire extinguishers, beamers. This is an easy first step that makes discussing the project much better.
Pros
- Layers, I love layers to separate topics in the drawing
- It was easy to setup a floor plan on scale
- Sharing the document you're working on
Cons
- I would like to be able to enter the size of an object placed. Dragging to change the size works but being able to enter the size would be more accurate.
- Page setup. Being able to setup a page to a existing page format
- Drawing an object using multiple strait or curved lines
- Reduced project completion time
- Improved productivity
- Improved project communication
- Improved time to adapt project elements
Our team is spread out over Europe, South America and the Caribbean. And in collaborating on this plan using Miro I didn't have to think much about the fact that we are remote. Sharing was easy and having everyone up and running using Miro with minimum efforts was really handy.
Much easier to actually setup a floor plan on a scale and get to work. Also Jamboard is scheduled to be terminated.
