Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We use Miro for any number of creative and collaborative efforts. Primarily it's been employed to efficiently run workshops of any flavor. Even the in-person workshops benefit from the shared space of a digital workspace. Miro's also incredible as a centralized hub for organizing a project. Its ability to accept multiple file formats and link out to other content has no rival.
Pros
- Organizing content and keeping teams connected
- Designing and running workshops
- Collaboration for remote teams
- Templates for repeatability
- Security
Cons
- I'm still trying to flex the AI features
- Finding boards is really difficult
- productivity improvement
- improved connections in a remote work world
It's the primary meeting place for my teams. We are an O365 organization so a majority of our chats and meetings happen on Teams. Most everything else happens in Miro.
Miro stands far taller than any of these other tools. There was a time when I thought Mural and Miro were at parity and the Miro team continues to enhance and expand the functionality without it ever feeling like bloat. The updates are all welcome. FigJam has the advantage of its Figma relationship but the tool is very limited.
