Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use it for all sorts of things, like mapping out processes, building flowcharts, and sketching blueprints. It’s also great for putting together workshops. Whether I’m trying to visualize a complex idea or just make sure everything’s organized, this tool helps me get it done clearly and straightforwardly.

Pros

  • Collaboration.
  • Design flowcharts.
  • Map processes.
  • Blueprints.

Cons

  • Music for workshops.
  • Things get messy easily.
  • I don't understand why the template colors vary according to the object selected, post it vs. shape.
  • Collaboration
  • Enables remote work.
  • Documentation
It's great. I start the projects with a Brief session that involves the main stakeholders, where we set the scope, goal, etc. Then, I build up the project from there, doing flowcharts, blueprints, and other workshops. Seventy percent of my project is in Miro, the last part in Figma, and the process in Jira.
Miro is far better than these two. It has more options and is better designed. It has more features, and the design feels more thought out. It’s a solid tool that makes a noticeable difference, especially for bigger, more complex tasks. What I don't really like is the Miro desktop app; it's the same as using the browser.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is fantastic for collaborative work, especially when you need to brainstorm with a team or map out processes visually. It’s excellent for building flowcharts, mind maps, or even just laying out ideas in a way that’s easy for everyone to understand. Real-time collaboration is a huge plus, especially for remote teams. However, Miro can be less effective for detailed work or projects requiring precise design elements. It’s more about big-picture thinking and less about fine-tuning the details.
