Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Process mapping and task mapping. Presenting information in a way that is easy to understand. For my freelance work, I use it to map out work streams and business strategies.

Pros

  • Mapping out processes.
  • Facilitating a fun manner of work.
  • Templating various work maps that most find useful.

Cons

  • Perhaps being consistent in font style and size in templates.
  • Showcasing how templates could be used for particular businesses or goals.
  • Improved productivity.
  • Improved clarity and understanding.
  • Essential tool for templating processes before finalizing.
I tend to be the only one using Miro. I think it might be the only one who loves it in my full-time job and my solo consulting job. Other employees and clients enjoy it when I invite them to use it and add to the board, but no one has ever used it outside of projects I’ve started. I think it might be better suited for those who are visual learners, who like the workshopping style, and perhaps most importantly, those who are comfortable with the UI/UX of the platform.
The others are more clunky in my opinion but potentially have a lower barrier to entry. Miro can be smooth and refined but there are a lot of different buttons and functions and dragging techniques and zooming in and out that can be a lot to some.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Very appropriate for workshopping stages. Not as appropriate when you’re finishing a project and presenting findings. However, always appropriate if you work at a company that likes the workshopping and unfinished style of deliverables.
