Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Main Miro use cases in our company are digital creation, customer experience, commerce, research, and UX design. The tool is mainly used to centralize content and make decisions based on the info available on the boards. As company admin, I look forward to being allowed to enable Miro-Jira cards integration. There are some security enhancments that must be done prior to be allowed to enable it (already shared as a feature request with the customer success manager).

Pros

  • Content organization based on boards, projects, and Teams.
  • Infinite canvas board that supports endless info.
  • Integrations with third party tools.

Cons

  • Content lifecycle: delete content/boards not used in > X days/months/years.
  • 3rd party APPs security enhancements (e.g Jira cards integration).
  • Allow minimum editing rights for free restricted users (e.g Add sticky notes).
  • Miro helps increase productivity at the time to share ideas and feedback.
  • Improved quality of work.
  • Increased project velocity, improving time to market.
Miro - Jira card integration is the preferred one I am looking for. Unfortunately, due to security reasons, it cannot be enabled and configured. I already shared this feedback with our Customer Success Manager (Isabel Lobato).
Miro allows cross functional teams to seamlessly collaborate together asynchronously. This is a pretty interesting point to consider in order to enhance the overall efficiency.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is well suited for scenarios in which it is necessary to use an advanced visual collaboration tool. For example, strategic planning use cases, product development, and UX design. Functionalities such as interactive presentations and talk tracks are game changers for these use cases. On the other hand, Miro is less appropriate for scenarios in which a basic Whiteboarding tool is enough (e.g., Brainstorming sessions).
