Overall Satisfaction with Miro

  • To develop and capture our product team processes - such as org charts, process diagrams, ideation sessions
  • Retrospectives for product and project teams
  • To run workshops with external clients and internal teams

Pros

  • Integration with Atlassian product - so that we can link our Jira tasks to Miro board
  • Creation of PDF
  • Easy to create process diagrams and collaborate as a team

Cons

  • Copy/Paste function
  • Working with tables can be a bit difficult
  • Helps to embed process and deliver on continuous improvement initiatives
  • Improved efficiency of meetings with remote teams
  • Better documentation of workshop outcomes
Integrated well with our Atlassian products, such as Jira. We often create Jira items directly from Miro, and when the Jira item is updated, it is reflected in Miro.
Our team works from different locations, and often work from home. We also deliver work to client organizations that are located in other countries. Using Miro helps to work collaboratively and capture any outcomes from meetings/workshops.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Works really well when collaborating as a remote team, or running remote workshops. Useful when creating process, planning, or running product team retrospectives.
Less appropriate when using it with a smaller team or when using it to create client deliverables (eg: presentations or documentation)
