Overall Satisfaction with Miro

As an ideation tool and one for organizing information, Miro is really useful. But often for me, I have to do this asynchronously, as I am not quick enough with the platform. As a researcher, I also use it for my kick-off sessions with product and design teams. Another recent use case has been to map out our Q3 and Q4 planning priorities.

Pros

  • Flexibility around organising information
  • Ability to collaborate
  • Familiarity and ease of use

Cons

  • Not as easy to collaborate synchronously
  • Discovering new ways to organize information
  • Discovering new ways to plan and collaborate with stakeholder teams
None that I can think of. A lot of designers prefer using Figma for the very same use cases, as they are more familiar with it and the tool offers them a level of granularity they don’t get in Miro.
Not involved in integration.
It has been good--easy to access since everyone has it with their SSO.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is good for organizing all kinds of information, be it research planning, insights, readouts, etc. It's also a helpful tool when it comes to ideation with the team. However, it can be challenging to use if as an individual, you can’t type and think at the same time--I prefer to do things asynchronously just because of this reason, which may seem less collaborative.
