Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro as a team for diagrams, organizing ideas, planning features for the digital product, user journeys, mapping, information architecture, and most of the planning and ideation process. Miro is easy to manage and to work with, inside our organization even people that are not related to tech or design help the team with legal requirements or content inside Miro, so it's very helpful. Also, the app is very helpful for communication between the developers and the designers, the ideas and planning are very clear from the beginning.

Pros

  • Team work, co-work
  • The mapping tools
  • Planning and ideation tools

Cons

  • Dark mode
  • Sometimes when I export a really big frame to JPG, it losses quality
  • Sometimes when using the desktop app on MacBook the text crashes and changes its position
  • Improved productivity
  • Improved communication between team members
  • Improve planning
I really like how Miro works inside our team and people, also the different plugins for apps like Slack, notion or even Figma work really well and help with the productivity of the design process
It works really well between the different apps we use as a team in order to create or innovate in our development
That's one of the greatest features of Miro, inside our team we work from different places, cities, and even countries, and we always keep a good workflow and communication with everyone. We collaborate also in different time zones and it doesn't matter because miro keeps us notified and gives the information about the latest updates.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

I think is quite different, it has similarities but Miro is easier for everyone inside the team, FigJam works better for a design team, but when we need help from other roles Miro it's better, easier and faster
I think Miro is great for planning, making an ideation or brainstorming session with the team, making diagrams for agile methods in digital product design, and good communication between the team members, from leadership roles to technical roles. It's not appropriate for designing or doing digital prototypes, nor for team management or task management.
