Overall Satisfaction with Miro
As a graduate teaching assistant, I have to communicate to numerous students to help them in understanding academic concepts, ideas on a regular basis. I use Miro as a tool for providing greater visibility to different ideas to the students and it has been greatly helpful. As a researcher, I often use miro's shared workspace to collaborate with project members. It has immensely helped with our productivity as it's easier for us to be on the same page.
Pros
- I think Miro's block diagram and flow-chart facilities is great.
- I like that Miro allows us to export the diagrams in different formats, which we can include in other documents easily.
- Miro's application has great performance, even though I have used miro with 5-6 people at a time, I did not experience any lag.
Cons
- It seems to me that currently Miro's focus is on corporate businesses, however I think Miro could put some dedicated focus on making it a learning aid for university student and beyond.
- Miro could help in academic research as well, but I don't think it has a dedicated focus on this area either.
- I have not experienced any negative impact.
I don't use Miro within a company. I use it on individual basis and with my research project members. My experience has been great. It definitely helps to move forward projects with ease as we can communicate our ideas more elegantly.

I have used Prezi, draw.io. I think Miro provides a much better experience than these products.
