Overall Satisfaction with Lucidspark

In addressing future strategies we use it to brainstorm ideas and identify potential problems as a team in a designated period of time. We set up boards and bounce ideas and thoughts off of those boards, leading to a discussion later down the line. We've found it fun and very fruitful.

Pros

  • Allows for genuine collaboration.
  • Clearly identifiable contributors.
  • A wealth of little design elements that help make boards and contributions clearer and more fun.

Cons

  • I actually like it as it is but I guess I'd like the functionality of the text writing to be a little easier.
  • We haven't used this product for long enough but at a guess I would say it's cut down on the number of discussion times in meetings, moving straight into a practical and timed session.
I found it easy and logical to jump right into and get going.
I haven't needed any support at this point.

Yes

For team collaboration and where you might otherwise use a whiteboard (online or in-person), Lucidspark is a great tool for getting ideas and solutions down on paper. It allows for genuine collaboration and is easy to set up so that the brainstorming session is guided and logical and not just a free for all. In creative environments where you might have confident and thoughtful collaboration, it's ideal. Less appropriate would be, at a guess, more formal, traditionally held ways of information gathering and discussion.
