Nice diagramming tool, saves a lot of time with ERD import feature

Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart

Just works fine, you can draw every diagram that you need.
For us it helps to draw architectural diagrams (sequence, use-cases etc.) for different services and ERDs for databases.

Pros

  • ERD import for MS SQL server database works quickly and easily, you just run a query in your DB, save results as *.csv file, then import file and drag needed tables to Lucidchart editor.

Cons

  • For ERD import it would be great to have "select all" and/or "select multiple" (CTRL + mouse click) selection options when you choose which tables relations to draw. Because if you have a DB with 20+ tables and you want just draw ERD for the whole DB, it takes some time to drag all the tables one by one.
  • It saves onboarding time for newcomers.
Never had trouble, which needs to contact support, it is even better than quick help from support. :)

For now it satisfies all our diagramming needs, it is easy to include diagrams to Confluence, also the great thing is that you can share them inside the team.
