Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart

Easy to use drag and drop solution on cloud makes it simple for both technical and non-technical users.
It is an excellent and easy to use diagramming/prototyping solution. Communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams becomes simple with Lucid app. We are using it for representation of high-level system design and architecture between cross-functional teams. Lucidchart eliminates barriers and facilitates collaboration throughout the process of system design and review.

  • Lucid app being a cloud tool is reduces time for obtaining feedback

Cons

  • Intractability of viewing screen or resolution of actual design
  • Additional Icon Sets representing modern technologies like cloud
  • Exporting to PowerPoint format
  • Time saving
  • Improved collaboration during system design
  • Helped in meeting partner requirements
I do not have many problems with [this] tool other than feature requests like new icon sets.

I haven't been involved in the selection. But, It stacks well with other solutions like Visio in terms of usability and collaboration.
Able to design using drag and drop, collaboration on cloud, import/export to Visio are best features. It is less appropriate for technology specific representations like cloud architecture etc.
