Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Litmus to ensure our emails render the same to all of our customers, whether they’re looking at it on their phone, in the Gmail app, in Outlook, or whatever email client they use. Even though our emails are fairly templated, Litmus has allowed us to catch multiple mistakes in our emails due to the subtle differences in clients.

Email on Acid

Having used both, I definitely prefer Litmus over Email on Acid. It's a little more intuitive in terms of UI, and previews load faster. The integration with Salesforce Marketing Cloud also sets it apart further.

Litmus is great at catching the little mistakes that can occur in your emails between different email clients. It’s super easy to use and you can simply send your test email by sending it to a bespoke address they give you. This particularly helps when you have a lot of personalisation in your code; there’s no need to code it directly in Litmus.
