Overall Satisfaction with Litmus
Litmus is being used for testing and developing newsletters spread over various email clients. It is used across different departments of the same organization. The main problem it addresses is that we can have quick turnaround time by rapid bug fixing on various email clients. Also, the checklist feature helps in organizing the workflow of the email testing.
Pros
- Checklist to help organize the workflow of newsletter development and testing
- Reduces time taken for development
- Litmus provides a very wide range of devices for renders, including a dark mode for many devices.
Cons
- Sometimes it takes a lot of time to load email preview.
- Maintaining code is difficult as it doesn't have good editor.
- I'd like to see more up-to-date devices offered for Android and Gmail for Android - such as the more recent Galaxy versions offered by Samsung.
- Litmus has been instrumental in time-saving on overall development
- Checklist option helps testing and development team to look for specific details.
- The image rendering feature is great since it is a huge factor in making or breaking an email program.
Litmus has served me well. I didn't have to look for alternatives.
