Overall Satisfaction with Litmus

We use Litmus across our whole organization. We use Litmus to test our emails and look for errors and make sure they are rendering correctly across all Internet Providers. We also use Litmus to send proofs to our clients. Litmus makes it easy to share proofs of our emails outside of our organization.

Pros

  • Shows how the email will render in multiple IPs
  • Makes it easy to share copies of the emails outside of our organization
  • Aids in a quicker approval process

Cons

  • One issue we run into is that the public links expire and the client will ask for another one
  • It would be nice if there was an option to choose to not have the public link expire
  • Huge time saver for email approval process
  • Catches errors that would have likely not been caught
  • Share proofs of the emails easily
Litmus was chosen by my organization. I have used Return Path and Litmus and find Litmus more user friendly.
Litmus is great for proofing a ton of email and getting approvals quickly.

For the price, I don't think it is great for smaller organizations where they only send out a handful of emails.
