We use ISL Light for remote control support of devices belonging to our customers. The product is used daily by our support team for the purposes above. We also utilise the features of always on for customers who are not able to interact via a one time code or cope with the customer application to gain access

Pros

Interaction with customer systems is very intuitive
remote access from anywhere is a big advantage
Low impact for the end user

Cons

sessions can be slow
administrative control can be clunky

Return on Investment

saving on travelling time
allows for quicker response times

Usability

Sometimes ISL Light can be slow and icons can be confusing for end users. The need to download the application where applicable can be annoying for the users.The admin control function can be a little hit and miss and does not always work. The sessions can be slow due to reliance on the internet but from a support viewpoint it is easy to use

We have a core customer base of elderly clients who find it hard to manage to download the ISL app. In this case ISL Light always on is invaluable as it allows us to remotely control systems without relying on the end user to do anything. This provides additional reassurance to them that their issues can be solved quickly without any added stress
