Overall Satisfaction with Intercom

At its most basic Intercom simply provides our clients with a live chat support option for our clients. However, that is description sells Intercom short. Intercom has an amazing and extensive suite of features that provide many more options than this. We extensively use their workflows to create a seamless self-serve chatbot experience for our users, posts, and banners to share platform-wide updates, and for hands-on explanations, we use product tours.

Pros

  • Great customer support when we have questions.
  • Interoperability between their different features.
  • Flexible features that allow for a lot of creativity.

Cons

  • Ability to easily translate chatbot workflows via an import/export of the text.
  • Copy/Paste particular portions of workflows.
  • Automated OOO notifications for holidays.
  • Reduction in support requests.
Overall, Intercom's UI/UX is very usable. Sometimes, I struggle to find specific settings and have to dig, but generally, searching for them will make them appear.
We integrate it with HubSpot and Zendesk to keep everything linked to better support our clients.
