Overall Satisfaction with Insightly

Insightly houses contact information, opportunities, and projects in my organization. The business problem Insightly addresses is a single platform that allows for transparency throughout our organization. We use the platform most for its reporting capabilities, enabling us to use the information housed in multiple departments—marketing in my case—and to make informed decisions and observations.

  • Ease of identifying deal closing bottlenecks.
  • Ease of identifying deal closing assistance.
  • Analytics that measure our marketing campaign effectiveness.
Our biggest challenge has been user adoption. The platform is good, but the inability to identify duplicate entries, stale data, and the complicated process of inputting new bulk data has made users skeptical and uninterested in complying.
These have higher prices and offer more extensive products we wouldn't utilize at our growth stage.

It's a moderately priced, simple platform that serves its purpose for our uncomplicated use cases. However, for larger companies looking to house more information, I think the tags and fields get confusing and don't allow for excellent reporting. Finding a way to enter companies with multiple locations without duplicating data has been challenging.
