Overall Satisfaction with IBM Cognos

We use Cognos as the primary business intelligence tool to ongoing and ad-hoc reporting. We are however transitioning to another BI tool

  • Increased speed and performance
We actually selected Cognos, but had to switch to another BI tool due to cost reasons.
Cognos would be best suited for a large enterprise that can have clear reporting requirements alongside engagement from the end business users. It is a fantastic tool that has most of everything a business user might need. But there is a steep ramp up period.
