Overall Satisfaction with IBM Cloud Object Storage

We use IBM Cloud Object Storage to handle all our assets for our product deployments which are images, videos and audio files. This helps us keep high availability for our customers that access these resources from their devices.

Pros

  • Geo-location of user requests

Cons

  • Permissions and ACL management still needs some improvement if you aren't a CLI wizard.
  • By using IBM Cloud Object Storage we have been able to focus more on our product features and not handle binary storage for our products.
Most types of binary storage that don't require very low latency. If you need very low latency (<300ms) then there are other services from IBM that are better suited.
