Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Gusto to run payroll and manage PTO for our team. This was incredibly helpful because it is easy for both employees and managers to assess PTO balance & request PTO formally. Although I don't run payroll, Gusto promptly alerts me when payroll is set to run and allows me to access all my paystubs, so it is accessible and easy.

Usability

Gusto's high and accessible usability rating is because of the clear and aesthetically pleasing options. There are clear options when accessing PTO, paystub, people/organization structure, benefits, documents, etc. We haven't used the performance function yet, but I expect that this will make the employee's feeling of control over their employment even more secure.

Gusto makes onboarding and personal navigation of payroll & PTO easy. You can see the organization stucture easily and the PTO management is very straight forward with your current balance and approved time off immediately accessible. It is also easy to see the PTO calendar of everyone at your organization, which helps a lot when looking forward.
