Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are a remote marketing agency and needed an effective system that would allow us to track our time per project via phone and computer.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Project time tracking that allows us to more effectively estimate project workloads and staffing needs
Effective payroll and documentation tracking that is easy for the employees to download documents without needing to request them

Cons

Would be beneficial for our company if we could just switch the project while clocked in so we did not have to clock out every time we start a new project. At times we get pulled in for a few minutes on a project but then we can get back to what we were working on

Usability

Very simple and straight forward system that allows employees to track time on the go. This comes in hand when our employees are traveling or working off site.

Alternatives Considered

Clockify

Gusto allows us to verify time easier. Employees can not manually change time without inserting a note. This helps to hold them accountable and to know they are working efficiently
