Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are implementing GoodData in our clients as an upsell. By this moment, we are still building their dashboard in PowerBI, but it takes us too much time, so we are changing to GoodData, and leaving them building their own metrics, saving us the time of building dashboards. And one more important feature is the white labeling, so they will use, it as if they were using Rabbot, and not a third service.

First, and the most important, the White labeling BI, and the flexibility and liberty to our customers.

Usability

GoodData is an incredible tool when you know how to use it. But it took me some time, to discover the features, and to rule them. In the beginning, when you don't know how to work with it, you struggle a little, but when you master it, it's so easy and also fun to work with it.

Alternatives Considered

Yellowfin

I also tested Yellowfin and Logi, looking for a whitelabel solution, but in the end we decided to close a deal with GoodData because of the price. The other two services also have as intresting pack of features, but Good Data has a good price,, and because of this, we seleceted GoodData.

Likelihood to Recommend

Some clients enjoyed so much what we showed, they liked the flexibility and the fact that they can edit reports and dashboards, and create metrics directly in the embedded, but every time they need some new data, that is not in the Data model, we have to do a transform in out back-end to make this information available for them. And, of course, we also miss an ETL tool directly in GoodData.
