Overall Satisfaction with Duo Security

We use Duo [Security] for cloud security across the entire organization. Duo [Security] allows us to verify our identities from devices before logging into company software (internal or external). It provides safety and the ability to work remotely. Whether I use my phone or laptop, I can access the company software I need securely.

Pros

Cons

  • Can't save my settings at times to keep the device active for 30 days
  • Sometimes I need to type my email and password twice
  • Some apps seem to require more frequent Duo use than others
  • Small cost to use and operate from my view
  • Zero safety breaches I am aware of
  • Doesn't require constant updates or patches
End user rating is an 8 because it's very intuitive and simple, can't imagine it being more intuitive. The UI buttons are large in fact and on screen instructions are prominent.
I have never used their support (which speaks to how good the product is).
I cannot - I have not ever needed to use their support.
Google authenticator is similar and also good, but I prefer Duo Security because there are no numbers. When allowed, I choose Duo over Google Authenticator.
[Duo Security is] good for basic work needs. However, if you need to frequently login to specific apps that always have security checks, it could be too clunky. I also love how I can use it for other apps like amazon - it's an extra layer of safety.
