Overall Satisfaction with Diligent One Platform

The onboarding and ongoing training and support is limited at best. We have found one person (IKenna) who is helpful. The rest of the team is limited in knowledge and just providing sales pitches and always has to ask someone else or does not know the answers.
We utilize Diligent One for our Internal Audit testing for control design and effectiveness evaluations.

Pros

  • Workflow reviews of control testing.
  • Project templates and customization.

Cons

  • Scheduling
  • Reporting on customized fields
  • Risk integration with projects
  • User access permissions and assignments in one central site.
  • Centralized repository of workpapers.
We do not currently use story boards so this is not applicable.
Cheaper. We retain diligent due to the cost. The other products have more advanced tools but unfortunately due to overall cost and time to implement we are limited in exploring other options at this time.

Diligent is a good repository and workflow tool. Overlapping scheduling and reporting on work vs hours vs schedules needs improvement.
