Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Headsets
I work at the helpdesk doing remote support so i use my Cisco headset about 7 hours a day. This headset allows me to service our users hands free, which is a huge convenience and makes my work possible. The headset is comfortable enough to wear long term and has very good audio quality. I enjoy using my Cisco Headsets.
Pros
- Great sound quality
- Comfortable to wear for extended periods
- Integrates well with Cisco IP Phone features
Cons
- An option for single earpiece
- Slightly more sturdy build quality (more metal)
- Padding is comfortable but wears over time
- Allows me to provide remote phone support
- Allows me to take hydration and coffee breaks while on the phone
- Allows me to reduce missed calls because it is easy to answer
plantronics c054 is the other headset that i have used. it has a completely different feature set and in almost every way, upgrading to the cisco headset has been an improvement.

Using Cisco Headsets
20 - Customer support, remote technical support, general office workers answering phones including clerical, business, human resources.
20 - IT support technicians assist with cisco headsets. they escalate issues to level 2 support techs if needed, and there is a voip technical expert who manages the system and provides last tier tech support when issues get escalated to that level
- hands free answering the phone
- easy to manage using cisco tools, less need to fiddle with knobs and dials
- starting to replace the existing aging headsets that are the standard
- centrally managed headset settings that make setup easier
- possibly videoconferencing
- probably not that many other use cases to be honest
