Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Catalyst Switches

We are using it in our office for the campus network, and also we are proposing it for our customers. These are robust platform switches which works for all types of customers and works for years. We can install once and forget about it as we will have lesser maintenance of these switches.

  • Scalable with 8 units per stack
  • Different models /variant of switches in the same series
  • Meets all type of customer needs from 8 port, 12 port to chassis based switches

Cons

  • Stackable options for fiber switches
  • Switches with lesser number of fiber ports for small aggregation locations
  • Flexibility of stacking with copper switches
  • These switches will provide best ROI
  • As there is a flexibility of stacking 9300 and series different models it will help customer to scale as per his requirements
  • Much lesser maintenance and lesser failure rate as compared to other 3rd party switches
  • Subscription based license are easier to manage
Cisco Catalyst Switches stacking have dedicated ports compared to Aruba with front stack/uplink ports.
