Overall Satisfaction with Avalara

Avalara has allowed us to maintain sales tax certificate compliance, properly calculate current sales tax rates, file and pay sales tax returns in a timely manner.

Pros

  • Updates current sales tax rates automatically
  • Integrates with our ERP system

Cons

  • Getting answers to questions easily.
  • While setting up Avalara Cert Capture is a pretty long process, the time it has saved us in filing returns is 40 hours a month.
The hardest thing we came across was navigating the different websites (Avatax, Avacert, ...).
Avalara is very helpful in staying in compliance with current sales tax laws.
