Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica
We converted from an old mainframe system and moved all of our financials into Acumatica. The conversion was needed due to mainframe support/maintenance being sunset. Compared to our old system, Acumatica provides much better visibility to the data and ease of use to our accounting team.
Pros
- Generic Inquiries - being able to quickly create a GI to get data per user requests
- Ability to export to Excel
Cons
- Generic Inquiries - Sometimes time out and get 'system cannot generate record count' error. This is frustrating as it doesn't allow users to export the full result set into Excel.
- Time savings in having all of our financials in one place. We were able to eliminate a couple of integrations that were used in our old system and replace with GIs that directly access the data in Acumatica.

Provided our internal customers with better visibility to their data. It also gave them more tools to be self-sufficient, instead of relying on programmers to create reports or programs that were needed in the past to get data out of the old system.
We use strictly for financials. WE are a manufacturing company and use specific custom software for our industry that is needed to run our plants.
