General Business

Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica

We currently use Acumatica only as our financial Reporting basically because we integrate with Aspire for all of our invoicing and job costing. We do use Acumatica for Accounts Payable but some of the AP also comes in from Aspire.

Pros

  • It integrates well with Aspire and post transactions directly from purchase orders
  • Good reporting for financials
  • Great for consolidating financials among multiple branches

Cons

  • Inflexibility of having to assign a specific bank account to a vendor; should be able to assign at time of processing
  • Inability to make changes to posted GL transactions in open periods
  • Inability to make changes to posted AP transactions without reversing the entire transaction; other than being able to reclassify the GL. Would be nice if you could change date or branch code.
  • We have not been on Acumatica long enough to evaluate this; however, I do think this is going to help our productivity.

Acumatica helps us utilize our other Operational software Aspire and links perfectly and seamlessly and allows us to report data timely..

Would you buy Acumatica again?

Yes

I believe Acumatica is probably best suited if you utilize all of the modules that it offers; however, even if you only use some modules it is still a good product. I think if it very good for manufacturing organizations and less so for service organizations.
