Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica
Currently we use Acumatica just as an accounting tool for the Project items.
Pros
- Project Accounting
- Tracking of Actual Costs
- Tracking of Commitments and Subontractors
Cons
- Project Forecasting and Month End
- Currently, we have to store production data in excel files to calculate Revenue
- Revenue Recognition models are limited.
- We would like the GL transactions to allow for inventory IDs. Currently we need to do double entries to tie a GL transaction to a project inventory.
- We are still doing many of the production calculations outside of Acumatica in Excel sheets
- Our Month End process involves too many people and involves gathering data in excel. Then we do a GL transaction to push into Acumatica. We would love to see our month end process in Acumatica.

We only use Acumatica for accounting. We do not utilize it for our customers.
We only use Acumatica as an accounting tool. We process AP invoices and receive AR invoice. We do not invoice directly from Acumatica.
