Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica

We are changing from using SAGE as our ERP to Acumatica implementing Manufacturing, CRM, Financial, Ecommerce.

Pros

  • Cashflow

Cons

  • Don't know yet. We are in the process of implementing.
  • We save $150K annually by getting off of SAGE which requires AVD go access.
Using MRP, we expect to have less stock outs so we can better plan our purchases thereby meeting our customer's shipping timelines. Also, connecting Shopify to Acumatica.
Provides cradle to grave integrated manufacturing order processing for our customers.
Acumatica is 21st century online. Sage is 1980's old server based.

We expect to use Acumatica in our warehouse using barcoding and mobile devices to have up to date information. Also, we anticipate connecting Shopify, Avalara, ShipStation to Acumatica and we are replacing Hubspot with CRM.

I wouldn't change my process.

Acumatica Implementation

Make sure your VAR can keep up with you. Insist that sample transactions are taken from cradle to grave by the VAR prior to customer testing. Then do customer testing, make needed changes, VAR test again, customer testing again before go live. Also make sure that all standard financial statements are designed and ready to go before go live.

Acumatica Support

We had issues right after go live where we were unable to save transactions after they were entered. This was an Acumatica bug that was finally fixed after weeks of ongoing complaints about it,
I don't know what premium support is.
Yes - No, as noted previously, it took way too long to get this bug fixed. It cost us many man hours lost.
