We use analytics for almost every department, but I specifically use it for the customer service department. We use the analytics to determine data points around how healthy our customers are and then use that analysis to decide which ones we need to focus on more. We use the product for all customers nationwide and have visibility for the entire company and team.
Pros
Analytics has a lot of customizable dashboard options.
Analytics can pull in many different kinds of data and allow you to work with it in your preferred way.
Analytics is integrated well with other Zoho systems.
Cons
Analytics doesn’t ever seem to pull completely accurate data from other Zoho systems.
Analytics can be slightly restrictive regarding access to the general user, preventing some of the fantastic analytics features.

I've seen that for my personal use of analytics. It helps to be able to have access to lots of different dashboards that can pull in data from different Zoho platforms; at the same time, I’ve seen that it’s a little bit hard to build some of those dashboards without prior experience and that it can limit access to people that need to see analytics from time to time. I think the analytics work slightly better for smaller teams, but I'm not sure how well they would work for a large team.
The Zoho Analytics Dashboard automated a lot of day to day supervision of departments and is a strong control system thag saves a lot of time for the functional heads to understand the productivity of each sales member , pre sales member , support executives . A lot it has been helpful to make different dashboard for for each user with the feature of showing data of only the logged in user
Pros
Comparative data tended over the time period
Funnel based data segmentation to understand the actual conversions
Different chart types to choose from as per the data type
Cons
Adding more than 2 field in the grouping should be provided
Box and whiskers chart h be enabled
Can allow to capture the stage duration (days )in the reports section

Zoho Analytics is an excellent application which helps in creating meaningful data, with the help of data visualization, creations and structure. It gives insights into making the data wonderful. It provides unique structure of prestation and meaningful data that can be used to provide different insights int business. Business will definitely benefit from the analytics it provides.
All of the significant data in my company is stored in Zoho Analytics (earlier Zoho Reports), and it is something that is always on the increase. It is much simpler to create reports and interactive dashboards for all of our business needs and to evaluate the success of campaigns for our clients when all the data is consolidated in one location.
Pros
Attractive dashboards
Graphical representation (charts)
Helps in analysis
Cons
UI can be improved
Need an option to see history

One of the nicest features Zoho offers is its extensive data integration capacity. The main relational databases used by my company's technical divisions are connected to by Zoho Analytics. Aside from the fact that the Zoho analytics mobile app has fewer features than the computer version, I also find the mobile app to be unintuitive and there is a constant tendency for notifications to be delayed.
We use this to consolidate data between our admissions process and our SIS(student information system). It helps us to see the life cycle of our applicants and students and to gather real-time data. This product is used between data analytics and engineering to help further our goals and retain applicants and students.
Pros
Data consolidation.
Data manipulation.
Data visualization.
Cons
More visualization metrics.
More learning resources.

I think analytics and data can help in every scenario. Analytics can be really detailed so there might be times where it may not be as necessary as more simple products. If a company uses Zoho then adding Zoho Analytics will allow for greater ease of use than in comparison to Tableau.

Zoho Analytics gives us a friction-less way to provide dynamic, expressive data on our University's public website.
Problem to solve: Multiple University departments are charged with supplying University facts and statistics to the website. Previously, our only method of fulfilling our responsibility to publish this data was to give PDFs to Marketing, which is responsible for the website. The presentations were not exciting for prospective students or other site users! While Drupal (the site platform) is very capable, we don't have direct access to work with it. Marketing has limited technical ability in-house and consultants are expensive, so we can't give them raw data and expect them to provide visualizations for us. We also have very limited budget for tools.
Zoho resolution of problem: I now massage the data on-premises, on behalf of the responsible departments, and upload it to Zoho. I create visualizations there, arranged in dashboards, and with a substantial amount of control over filtering and presentation. Department users can easily provide feedback to my initial mockups, and changes are easy to make on their behalf, so this becomes a creative, collaborative process. We only have to give Marketing the code to embed our dashboards in their pre-built pages. Not only does this approach allow site users to explore and understand the data much more effectively than the PDFs full of tables did, but also I can refresh the data for a new academic year "under" the visualizations, without Marketing having to change anything.
Pros
Very good bang for the buck, especially if you pre-handle your data before uploading so you're not reliant on the Zoho SQL syntax of raw tables and have fewer, wider rows.
Reasonable assortment of chart types.
Usable design surface, especially for a fully web based system.
Reasonably intuitive organization of content types.
Nice handling of aggregation functions.
Cons
Limitations in SQL syntax are difficult to guess at; it's a matter of trial and error to find out what won't work as expected. The docs are a little mystifying on this point ("Please do note that this is just a suggested list of functions and is not limited to it. Although, the suggested list is guaranteed to work.") Similarly, you can embed HTML in a dashboard component, including script functions, but it's not clear what will work and what will not. It's just a question of trying stuff out.
Sometimes it's difficult to know when a change has been saved automatically and when it needs an explicit action. In a similar way, when you're designing a chart, it's sometimes difficult to tell whether you were in View mode or Edit mode after you click Settings (there is no visual clue at that point) and sometimes it seems as though what you do in Settings will have different results depending on what mode you were in. I could be wrong about what's really happening, and whether it's related to mode, but have definitely experienced different results with the same action. This especially applies to formatting such as axis fonts.
When I'm in the Explorer and click to open a designer, I would love it if the workspaces tab could be clicked to go to the Explorer (it's just a dropdown of available workspace names). I know I can use the sidebar to do this, but it's counter-intuitive that I can't click on that top tab the same way I can click between other top tabs to bring multiple designer surfaces forward while I work. A small thing but it gets me every time.
I don't find the generated chart and dashboard examples helpful.

It's very helpful for small companies with a limited budget to perform some data analysis and visualization. It's probably super helpful if you are tied into the Zoho ecosphere for your other business applications, although we are not in that position. It's also great that Zoho requires no on-prem installed component, for people without access to IT support and limited rights to install applications. Because you will eventually run into charting limitations, if you have high expectations and IT support, however, many people are going to be happier with Tableau from the point of view of options.
Please note that my ratings are based on the Basic plan, so there are features Zoho has that I will not rate because, at this level, they are too limited to be practical.

Zoho Reports is a user-friendly application. There are many reports to choose from a list which allows for quick reporting on the projects and events without too much development work and implementation required. Zoho Reports gives you the ability to automatically email reports to the team, which is very helpful. Dashboard creator is very easy to use as well. it's really great being able to automatically generate dashboards.
Pros
Integration with Zoho suite of apps and other databases
Reporting with many types of reports/charts/graphs
Features like report sharing, mail scheduling features are extremely useful.
Cons
High learning curve if you need more advanced functionality and customization.
Post level-1 customer support should be improvised for better turn around time.
You can not use "save as" for all reports
Likelihood to Recommend
We like that it quickly integrates with other applications so we can pull reports together without having to build them ourselves. It is nice that you can create many different types of graphs and charts to visualize your data with interesting contents. Tons of functionality and in-depth analysis. Perfectly met and suit the business need to combine multiple data sources with Zoho CRM. Good customer support network online to help understand the software as well for beginners.
We use Zoho Reports to integrate all of our reporting needs. Everything goes to Zoho Reports.... that way everyone is able to access the most critical info about the company. They can not only access it but explore it, dive deep, ask questions.
Pros
It's super fast.
Easy to use.
And cheapper than the competitors.
Cons
The support team is India, sometimes that can be a problem.
You can't edit/bulk edit values in the databases. Would be great if they also work a bit more like a spreadsheet.
The API is not great. It's also not super well documented.
They should have an iPhone app version.. there is currently only an iPad version of the app.
I don't think it's real time when synced with Zoho CRM.
I don't think they have a TV view that rotates with numbers (like Geckoboard, Cyfe, etc.).
Likelihood to Recommend
I think it's great for smaller companies to integrate all their dashboards in one place. Not sure how this will scale with more users/data.
It is being used by the sales and analytics departments to provide access to information that is not available through the normal reports functionality of Zoho and to get easier access than through normal Zoho. We need to have reporting on different modules in a way that the reports in Zoho CRM do not support.
Pros
It does what it's supposed to
It supports different kinds of SQL
You can sync data on demand
Cons
The auto-formatting of SQL is horrible
It's way too hard to figure out how to give people access
The time it takes to sync data is incredibly variable and, at times, excessive.
Likelihood to Recommend
If there are analytics or technical people who know SQL and are frustrated by the poor functionality of the reports in Zoho CRM, it is probably worth paying extra for Zoho Reports rather than continuing to struggle with the reports in Zoho CRM. If not, then there is no need for it.

Zoho reports can analyze huge amounts of data.
Cons
More self explanatory layout.
More tags and labels.
More online support.
Likelihood to Recommend
For larger businesses it is appropriate. For very small businesses it is too complex.
