Zepto creates real-time, data-driven, account to account merchant payment solutions. Zepto is an interconnected ecosystem of cloud-native technology architected for scale, real-time payments infrastructure and open banking capabilities.

Zepto’s cloud-native and cloud-agnostic application and infrastructure is compliant with, among other standards, ISO27001, ASAE 3150, CPS 234 & CIS Benchmark Level 2. All persisted data is encrypted at rest in highly available, replicated databases across Australian regions. These facilities are part of a suite of logging, security & intrusion detection/monitoring tools enabling real time notifications. Zepto utilizes modern devops best practices and tools such as Kubernetes to facilitate rapid deployment, scaling and visibility.

Australia’s New Payment Platform (NPP) infrastructure powers real-time payments. Zepto accesses NPP real-time payment rails through its accreditation as a New Payment Platform Connected Institution.

In September 2021, Zepto became the first non-bank payments provider in Australia to receive Accredited Data Recipient [ADR] accreditation under the ACCC’s Consumer Data Right [CDR].
