Wufoo is used across our entire organization. We use it for many purposes, such as an effective way for asking for vacation time and sick leave. Wufoo allowed our guests to register for our annual conferences easily online.

Wufoo helps us implement our annual events.

Wufoo could perhaps explain their name better (maybe a tagline?).

Wufoo is well suited for any scenario in which a company desires to create an effective online form. For example, if you were hosting an event and you needed a simple, clean-looking registration form, Wufoo would be the way to go!
Wufoo does not appear to be the most elaborate and ornate option for creating a form - so, if you desire opulence, perhaps look at a less streamlined alternative.
We currently use Wufoo to manage several different forms, for different purposes and departments within the company. It is easy to set up, deploy, talk to other apps, etc. It allows customers, potential employees etc. easily interact with us.
Pros
Ease of use.
Easy setup.
Communication with 3rd parties.
Failsafe for info.
WordPress compatibility.
Cons
It would be nice if it had more customization, could go wider, etc.
Better size responsiveness.
Plug and play CSS.

If you are looking for a quick and easy solution to to create forms for your web site, for really any reason at all, Wufoo is the best solution for you! We currently use it to capture prospects info, and integrate directly to our CRM, as well as take online applications for jobs. A third use captures emails and releases a "Free Report."
We have been using Wufoo to support multiple clients for quick and complex surveys, contact forms, lead generation, and registration for events. It is used mainly because of the ease of use and the quick setup of a new form. In some cases, we even use it internally within the company to conduct small surveys about company activities.
Pros
Easy of use
Rich feature set
Cons
The interface looks old and is not update for some time (apart from the new home page)
Themes are lucking complex customizations (still they are very easy to use)
Likelihood to Recommend
The most common scenarios for Wufoo are forms and surveys that can be generated easily with the use of the build it fields. Literally, in minutes a simple survey can be created and added to an existing page on a website. If more complex surveys are needed with more advanced fields and login for displaying different content based on the answers of the user, then Wufoo does not have those advanced tools. Survey Monkey (the parent company of Wufoo) can offer this.
We use Wufoo for any form (lead gen, contact, market research) where we want to ensure we'll be able to log all submissions. Have the option to transfer them to a different program for analysis or use (Google Docs, Email Marketing, CRM, etc.). Wufoo's extensive catalog of integrations makes that easy.
Pros
Great pricing
Extensive list of native integrations
Cons
Wish there was more customizability with how the form looks embedded on a website.
Wish there was better onboarding or a smaller learning curve for more advanced customizations.
Likelihood to Recommend
If you only need a handful of simple forms and therefore don't need to pay for a complex form builder that would be overkill, Wufoo is always a top 3 choice. Usually, with straightforward form needs, it comes down to your exact specifications and exactly how many you need - that's where most form providers differ on their free and cheap plans.
Wufoo is a very versatile tool and we’ve used it in many ways, from lead generation to recruitment. As a result, Wufoo ended up being used by almost every area of our organization.
One of the key advantages that helped Wufoo spread as much, is its simplicity. There’s little to no training required to start using it effectively which means that virtually anyone in the organization can use it.
Yet it is powerful enough to customize and integrate with many other systems.
Pros
Wufoo helps to create data inlets for company processes.
Wufoo helps gather feedback from customers and create reports.
Cons
Customizing forms so that they appear seamlessly in web pages requires more technical expertise.
Integrating with other systems for automation can be tricky.
Likelihood to Recommend
Wufoo helps a lot whenever there is data that needs to be collected quickly and simply. It also works well to distribute data and reports.
Some of the processes where it’s especially useful are: when collecting information about candidates for a recruitment process; when gathering customer feedback; when executing a quick general purpose survey.
Here at USEmergAlerts incident Notification Service, we use WuFoo for our Customer Support forms, Emergency Incident Tip Forms, as well as our Dispatcher Applications. These forms are used by all users of my company. By utilizing WuFoo for our online Form needs, it not only simplifies our application process, as well as our support system, but it also allows us to keep the data filled for each person who fills out the form. I've been using Wufoo for 5 years now, and I can still pull the data from the very first application that was filled out.
Pros
Very user-friendly. I think a 10-year-old can create a form with ease. That's how simple it is.
Customer service is very prompt. I've never had any issue with being assisted.
Cons
I think the monthly submissions should increase. As of now, you get 100 submissions per month. That's not a whole lot.
I would like it if the Submissions that are emailed out would come in HTML format instead of text format. Sometimes it can be a little confusing.

I have used different products in the past. I am most please with Wufoo because it is easy to use, has multiple ways for your form to be displayed on your website, and submissions can be sent multiple ways as well. We use WuFoo for support emails from our customers, for dispatcher applications, as well as people sending in emergency incident tip information. This is the perfect program for us.
We use it company-wide. Mainly, we use it to gather service requests from our customers in an efficient and effective manner. The requests are formatted and sent to our support desk in Zendesk using Zapier. Other uses include requests to be part of a beta, or marketing surveys.
Pros
Form logic.
Embedded forms.
Cons
Modern form styles.
Update ui.
Likelihood to Recommend
They are great for customer forms or internal form use. I'm not sure if they have mobile-friendly form styles. If you need out of the box integrations, then you will need another program to help connect your forms.
Wufoo is being used by our organization to collect registration and travel information for our board members and speakers for our meetings. We use it organization-wide, but the majority of the use is done in my meetings department. It solves the business problem of collecting that data in a secure location we can revisit as needed.
Pros
Has a wide variety of question templates.
Stores information so you can go back to it when needed.
Cons
When looking at the completed forms, it doesn't cycle out the N/A information, so you have to weed through all answers even if they are N/A.
It allows you to use the email link multiple times so someone can submit multiple forms.
Likelihood to Recommend
Well Suited: Surveys. Response forms (ie collect travel and hotel information for an upcoming meeting). Speaker data collection (ie bios, photos, session descriptions).
Less Appropriate: Actual meeting registrations. Those are better suited for technology specially developed for that with money handling capabilities. Abstract submissions -- again, those are best suited for technology where you can rate the submissions, etc.
I have used Wufoo in various roles over the years. Overall, it is a simple, easy-to-use form builder with multiple uses. The free option is a great start for learning and using the basics. The premium features are great when you are running larger or more complex forms.
Pros
Easy to use
Free Options
Great Customer Service
Clear pay structures
Cons
limited functionality in free version
some down time
could have more video trainings
Likelihood to Recommend
Wufoo is great for startups or small companies looking for a free option to send out their forms. Its an easy to use, simple and straightforward form collector. The premium options are great for adding more details and additional features that medium or large companies may need. For huge campaigns it may be limited.

Wufoo is a form-based software system that allows users to create forms of all kinds and then implement them on websites (via code, integration, etc.) We use Wufoo for ourselves and for our clients as a way to gather research data, create entry forms, and to be able to gather information on audiences (so that we can segment them in marketing, email or in business processes).
Pros
Flexible, multiple entry forms: Wufoo allows users to create forms with multiple options or formats (radio, single choice, checkbox, text, paragraph text)
Conditional forms: Need to ask a question that only applies to a specific group? Then Wufoo is for you - it allows you to create conditional logic that allows you to reserve specific paths for specific entrants.
Integrations: Wufoo integrates with EVERYTHING via Zapier. You can sync it to Google sheets, email ESPs / CRMs, payment gateways... All kinds of applications for this software with its flexible uses & integrations, including embeddable HTML or direct integration to your website.
Cons
Visual / Design: The visual UX is kind of boxy and very basic. It feels a little like typewriter on plain type paper. (You can customize the form with custom HTML, but for our applications, it's not worth hiring a designer for that.)
Composing the form / form builder: Sometimes the user navigation & guidance in selection isn't so straightforward. You can figure it out, but it might take you a trial and miss to get exactly the option that you're looking for.
There's a way for you to redirect your form and create conditional paths for users that move through your form - but this area is separated from the form building area itself, so it's easy to create a form and then miss this part of the form building (you have to look for it, and you have to be diligent about checking this in process as you edit your form.)

Wufoo is a great form-building software for:
Companies who want to automate their sales process. Our team uses Wufoo to screen applicants who want to use our services by measuring them with specific questions & qualifiers.
Companies who want to better understand their users: Want to understand the preferences of your audience or create a survey? This is like SurveyMonkey, but better... Because it's more flexible. This can be integrated with email service providers or CRMs to create tags and custom data that will help create more customized, personalized marketing. (BIG for ROI)
Small or large companies. This software is very budget-friendly.
This is not a great tool for brands that are extremely conscious about their image (like high-fashion eCom): The UX would need to be customized to maintain the design end of a brand like that.
