This transparency fosters collaboration, accountability, and alignment within teams and across the organization.
Scheduling of 1:1s and assigning objectives or key results: Users find the scheduling of 1:1s and assigning of objectives or key results in Workboard great for keeping teams aligned and on task. We've been using Workboard to help us set goals and OKR's within our business unit and the broader organization. Prior to Workboard, set had a very fragmented way of developing, setting and tracking our OKR's which lead to lost time and delayed reporting every quarter. Workboard has allowed us to spend more time focusing on setting and tracking rather than organizing goals and OKR's.
Pros
Setting clear goals and OKR's.
Tracking against deliverables.
Reporting.
Cons
There's a bit of a ramp time to using the service.
Likelihood to Recommend
Workboard is well suited in any organization IMO, it allows the individual business units to quickly set, define, organize and track their respective OKR's and align them with the larger business goals. The speed at which we're able to do this with Workboard has allowed us to spend more time on the goals themselves and less time on the management of the goal-setting exercise.

Project Manager in Professional Services (201-500 employees)
We use Workboard across the company mainly for project management, meaning:
- work breakdown in smaller tasks
- assigning tasks to people
- monitoring the progress of the work
- project status reporting to higher management levels
We have realized that for non-technical teams(like the software development team is), Workboard provides a nice and clean way for managing the projects by improving the team member's sense of ownership with more collaboration(possible in the tool) which causes a more results oriented attitude.
Pros
Project management at higher level - includes tasks assignment, visual representations of the project status and deadlines
Increases the team members' sense of ownership - especially for people that are not used with or exposed to dedicated project management tools like Microsoft Project is.
User collaboration - which in turn reduces the communication via email
Increases the efficiency of the meetings - by quickly going through the action items and updating the task progress in the tool itself
Support has been outstanding so far
Cons
We have seen some slowness of the User Interface sometimes
It is not as straightforward to use for beginners. People need to be trained to benefit from the whole features of Workboard
On a personal note, I am used to more advanced project management tools, like Microsoft Project, I especially like their timeline view, shared resources, gantt chart etc.
With adding more and more features, it tends to be more complicated and harder to be used by non software development people. In my view this is the biggest advantage that Workboard has at the moment.
Likelihood to Recommend
Project management at a higher level for non technical teams would work best in Workboard. It has nice visualization of the tasks (My Work), project objectives, deadlines, action items which all people appreciate. Using Workboard will keep the team on the same page, will increase its focus on the deadlines resulting in the productivity increase.
But, if you need stronger project management for software development projects, where methodologies evolve quickly, you may need to look for other tools.
