Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We regularly use their Local ranking tracking software for clients that I track and research. I use Whitespark Local Rank Tracker exclusively. It provides an ongoing view of how well clients are performing in search. We have also used their citation clean-up service for clients when appropriate. This helps clients that have moved or have listing problems, get them cleaned up for a low, one-time fee rather than paying a subscription for that service. They are a company that is run and functions with the highest integrity.

Pros

  • Great graphing over time
  • Easily check across multiple Google properties

Cons

  • It would be nice to see a geo-grid of ranking around a location

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Whitespark's Local Citation Finder across our Production department to review businesses' online presences. It helps locate bad information that we can fix.

Pros

  • Finds listings on directories
  • Finds press releases that mention brands or business names
  • Helps find bad data

Cons

  • Whitespark should increase the daily limit of Local Citation Finder reports, 20 is small.
  • I'd like it if you could tell the Local Citation Finder to search for just a phone number or just a business name instead of all NAP criteria.
