I conduct virtual lectures using Webex Meetings, hold office hours, and retain peers for discussions using the same platform. The platform facilitates our transition to hybrid learning will be able to attend sessions despite remaining in his or her respective locations.
Pros
The use of a whiteboard is especially useful to explain advanced concepts. The capability to record the sessions allows students the flexibility to review materials in his/her own time.
Additionally, connectivity of the platform to our learning management system facilitates scheduling as well as tracking of itches.
Cons
A limitation is the platform performance on the old devices.
Creating breakout rooms can be complicated, which requires several steps that are unnecessary.
Likelihood to Recommend
Webex fits well for structurally oriented class times and formal presentations. However for spontaneous collaboration or less formal study groups, platforms with a more streamlined interface may be more appropriate.
We constantly hold successful and resourceful meetings using Webex Meetings. All the language barriers and location issues are resolved by the program. We happen to listen any ideas shared by all our stakeholders and we arrive at the appropriate and innovative options. We also conduct different polls where successful voting is conducted.
Pros
Quality and limitless language translations.
Universal presence in all devices, including mobile phones, tablets, PC, among other.
Availability of dynamic polls for all stakeholders.
Cons
We are content with Webex Meetings features.
Likelihood to Recommend
When we have different thoughts and ideas from stakeholders, we use Webex Meetings to hold virtual meetings. More so, we share all our desktops or screens, which facilitates our discussions. Where we need voting, the program offers this powerful solution and we arrive to the right decision. Where distance is an issue, Webex Meetings is the app that controls makes the process successful.
Most of my teammates work remotely in my organization. So, communicating with them through Webex meetings is one of the essential tools that I use every day. It effectively solves my virtual office maintenance problems. Meeting, event, and video messaging options are really powerful features of Webex Meetings. They actually save time and effort.
Pros
Organizing Event.
Regular Virtual Meeting.
Messaging.
Cons
File sharing.
Meeting notes and summarization.
Subtitling the meeting.
Likelihood to Recommend
It is well suited for small and medium companies that operate globally or virtually. This software is pretty cool for arranging meetings and webinars for any company. Besides the company, any individual coach or trainer can benefit from WebEx Meetings. Its whiteboard option can help to demonstrate any meeting topic.
I used Webex as a customer support agent. We allowed customers to choose among Webex, Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, AnyDesk, and phone.
Pros
For some customers, it is the only allowed video conferencing tool.
The free plan offers the same features s paid plans except for a shorter time limit.
Cons
I've experienced frequent audio and screenshare issues.
Likelihood to Recommend
I only used Webex Meetings when I absolutely had to—i.e., when the customer insisted. Even then, we often had to supplement with phone call because audio didn't work. I've also experienced problems sharing my screen. It could be worse, but the Webex Meetings UI isn't terribly intuitive.
We run approximately 20 VILT sessions per day with a rough total of 320 learners per day. As the Admin for our instructors the Webex Meetings Control Hub allows me to add/remove/edit instructors easily. Webex Meetings cleanly integrates with our LMS which enables us to move instructors to different sessions on the fly and manage any changes throughout the day.
Pros
We use tools like the annotation, emoji's, and thumbs up polls in almost every session
The chat options keep the stream of conversation neatly organized with options to chat with the group or directly to certain individuals
The meeting settings allow us to set things like mute upon entry, disable video, and other meeting options for all classes uniformly
Cons
When using the web view not all features are available as when using the browser plugin
It's not always obvious when to use the application vs the browser plugin so users will often open the application instead of using the plugin
Newer features like breakout rooms aren't available
Likelihood to Recommend
Webex Meetings worked well for us when using smaller groups without much change in membership. We liked that we were able to save meeting settings and apply it to different groups of organizers. Adding/editing/removing users was a bit cumbersome though. User management in general was more work than we thought necessary.
We do use Webex Meetings for the purpose of meeting both colleagues as well customers and partners. With the help of Webex Meetings we're able to collaborate, share, exchange and see each other at least virtually. We also use the different functionalities that are available while the meeting is running but also use the channels for communication after the meeting did take place so that we can also keep record and follow-up on the open items from the meeting.
Pros
Video and voice quality
Waiting room feature
Chat functionalities (also post meeting)
Moderator features (e.g. mute the audience)
Video backgrounds and filters
Cons
AI features
Automated recording / minutes taking
Connection to other tools such as outlook or productivity software
Likelihood to Recommend
Simple and quick meetings with colleagues and / or customers and stakeholders can perfectly be done with Webex Meetings. You can also use a whiteboard to interactively collaborate with each other. Normal 1-1 meetings / jour-fixes can also be done with Webex Meetings. Webex can also be used to address larger audiences for bigger meetings where there are only a few presenters.

Customer Engagement & Sales Meetings
Cons
Web-based communication
Meeting Room Customization and Personalization
Integration with Third-Party Apps
Likelihood to Recommend
Webex Meetings provides features designed specifically for large-scale events, such as customizable registration, attendee management, and advanced analytics. For smaller, more casual meetings, platforms like Zoom or Google Meet may be more appropriate. Webex Meetings can be on the pricier side, particularly for smaller teams or businesses with limited budgets

I have used Webex earlier in my organization. Now it has been replaced by Microsoft Teams.
We used it for collaboration, communication, and remote work support.
The scope of our use case covered most of our internal and external communication needs. From small team meetings to large webinars, Webex Meetings became our preferred platform for collaboration.
Pros
Video & Audio Quality
Security (end-end encryption)
Performance (Lighter on resources)
Cons
The UI feels a bit cluttered and lags in intuitiveness
No integration with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, SharePoint)
Pricing is higher. Free version has a lot of limitations
Likelihood to Recommend
Choose Webex Meetings if you prioritize security, superior audio/video quality, and need a standalone meeting solution i.e. doesn't need integration with other Microsoft office tools.
For large enterprises and government organizations, Webex may be a better choice due to its security features and superior video & audio quality but, for most businesses where an integration with Microsoft 365 is required, Webex is not a good option.
Webex Meetings is really amazing to create meetings. Its an amazing collaboration platform. The audio and video quality is really amazing. It offers a free version as well which doesn't have all the functionalities but it serves the purpose for most people.
Pros
Better collaboration
Amazing audio and video capabilities
It's highly secure as its a product by Cisco
Cons
Difficult to manage breakout rooms
Chat feature can be better
Likelihood to Recommend
It's really good for team meetings in which we need to discuss strategies. We use it for clients meetings as well. It's super intuitive and offers amazing features like hand raise and screen sharing. It is also really better than most of the applications.
