Great experience with Vonage Business Communications so far.
Our organization leverages Vonage Business Communications to enhance team collaboration and customer interactions. It solves problems such as disjointed communication and workflow inefficiencies. We utilize VoIP calls, video meetings, and messaging, which boost remote work and customer support effectiveness. This integration has optimized our operations and increased productivity. It provide me a detailed user report, which helps me to monitor the call report.
Pros
With the Vonage Business Communications Mobile and Desktop apps, users can make calls, send messages, and host meetings using their business phone number from virtually any device.
Vonage Business Communications is designed to scale with your business, offering flexible plans and features that can grow as your needs evolve.
It seamlessly integrates with popular CRM systems, enhancing customer relationship management and streamlining workflows.
Features like call routing, call forwarding, and voicemail ensure that important calls are never missed.
Cons
While it integrates with many CRMs, there are still some popular tools and platforms that it doesn't support
You must exit the app and reconnect because it does not recognize headphones automatically after you reconnect.
Likelihood to Recommend
Vonage Business Communications excels in scenarios requiring seamless remote work, such as virtual teams and remote workers. It's also ideal for businesses needing reliable disaster recovery solutions. However, it may be less appropriate for very small businesses with minimal communication needs or those with limited budgets, as the comprehensive features might be more than necessary.

I used Vonage Business Communications for over 5 years as a solution to replacing an aged PBX system. It turned out to be a great solution for us, bringing the church into the 21st century with a high tech solution using existing architecture, easy expandability, advanced tools like auditing and visual voicemail, and a lot more.
Pros
Visual voicemail
Expandability
Price
Cons
Outages
Cost of new phones
Better desktop software
Likelihood to Recommend
Replacing old systems is a great use for Vonage Business Communications. It is lower cost than repairing old PBX, has great features and extensibility when you first set it up. Contracts can be a bit of a pain but not an awful thing. Overall it is a really good product that compared to other similar companies I can’t complain.
I use Vonage to communicate with my customers via text or phone. I like it because the app is on my computer and doesn't require me to have an actual phone. This allows me to use a company phone line that can be recorded for future reference or recall. We have had to use it many time before to prove a conversation.
Pros
records calls
keeps record of texts
allows use of rest of computer during use
Cons
allowing us to send/receive pictures
need to be able to hang up if the program shuts down
allowing video phone calls
Likelihood to Recommend
Like I said, it works well for sending and receiving text messages, but it would be nice to be able to get photos sent or received. It would also be nice to allow video calling. It's also nice that phone calls are recorded for future reference. It can all be used on the computer or on a person phone with an app.
In our organisation, It is our primary source of communication. We use it for making calls and for sending texting messages mostly. It is not limited to it only, but also helps us to communicate with other team members on a real time basis. It has features like call forwarding and voicemail which helps a lot. It provide us a seamless and integrated communication experience across various channels, including voice calls, video conferencing, instant messaging, and collaboration tools.
Pros
Voicemail
Reliability
Call Routing and Management
Cons
User Interface Complexity
Integration
Likelihood to Recommend
There are several scenarios based on my experience I think it is well suited, situations like as most of the organisations are working from home after the pandemic, it allows us to forward the calls to other Team members either using cold transfer or warm transfer. Also it allow us to merge the calls as well. It has a lot of other features which is making it well suited for us. For me less appropriate scenarios are very less, situations like if internet connectivity is low it takes forever to load the application.
We use Vonage Business Communications for all phone calls, cell phone app & SMS messaging. It is handy for forwarding calls & voicemail to our cell phones as it has the follow me feature.
Pros
Call forwarding
voicemail
SMS messaging
Cons
doesnt display contact who is calling
when on a call rings loudly over existing conversation
delay in connectivity when you first pick up a call
Likelihood to Recommend
It is well suited in that I can forward my office phone to my cell. I also use it on occasion for meetings. It is a quick way to connect to screen share. Spotty coverage & connectivity. A huge delay in voicemail & missed call notifications.

We have been with Vonage Business Communications for a number of years, but are now considering going elsewhere for our VOIP system. We have had problems with our incoming calls having a hum and severe echo, and Vonage has done nothing to resolve it if you can even get hold of a person to talk to and even more, provide technical support. We have tried changing settings in our system and Modem/Router with no results. So, it seems it has run its course.
Pros
Billing their clients
Not answering calls for technical support
Using people where english seems to be a second language
Cons
Having real people available for support
Allowing people to talk to them
Not hiding behind their system
Likelihood to Recommend
If they could just get more people with knowledge to provide technical support, and fewer people reading out of a book. And having multiple levels of technical support. Allowing customers to talk to people, instead of an answering system. Getting in touch with customers with problems, when the customer pays an amount for their system AND technical support.
We use Vonage for our phone, text, and faxing service. We use Vonage with the hope of receiving and placing phone calls. However, our lines are down more than 50% of the time. [I believe] This is a terrible product with no easy way to reach customer service. They do not take phone calls, the only communication is through chat. It takes 60 minutes to reach someone and they usually close the chat without a resolution.
Pros
Send pictures through text.
Send Fax
The phone app is pretty good.
Cons
The phone lines are down 50% of the time.
I cannot receive calls.
I cannot place calls
The customer service is terrible, no phone line to call.
The online chat support is terrible, they close chats without resolutions.
Likelihood to Recommend
If you plan on using Vonage to place or receive phone calls, it is a very poor option [in my opinion]. The texting and fax feature seems to work pretty well though.
