Vlocity's cloud app for Communications & Media companies adds industry-specific CRM functionality on top of Salesforce. It is designed to be more easily maintained, particularly with regard to Salesforce updates and other integrations, than an on-premise custom solution. 

By providing salespeople and customer service representatives with a 360 degree customer view, Vlocity aims to increase efficiency as well as customer satisfaction. Features include omni-channel interaction history, customer profile tagging, usage behavior & billing histories, rules-based offers, customer eligibility check, and service availability check.
