Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Visdum plays a critical role in streamlining our commission policies and their implementation. The system's flexibility allows us to easily configure and automate reports to meet specific requirements. Our commission policies are dynamic in nature and I love the fact that Visdum enables us to swiftly edit policies and incorporate additional SPIFFs and Kickers in real time, significantly simplifying my responsibilities.After moving to Visdum, we’ve been able to save an upwards of 50 hours/month that was otherwise spent on manually calculating and computing payouts. Distributing commission statements to reps has now become so much more easier with Visdum and we don’t have to worry about confidentiality. Reps have 100% visibility into their earnings so it’s a win-win.

Pros

System's ability to create any commission policy plus their implementation team helped in configuring and automating the reports as per my requirements.
We have frequent changes in our commission policies but the system is flexible enough to edit the policies and add any additional SPIFFs, Kickers on run time. It makes my job easy.
Integration with Salesforce and NetSuite ERP makes data management easier.
No more manually distributing endless commission statements. Visdum provides individual logins to each sales rep where they’re able to access their commission statements.

Cons

The team does a great job with our change requests and the turnaround time is less than 2 hours. I have had a great experience so far.

As a RevOps Manager, I use Visdum for managing sales incentives and to ensure that sales reps are paid fairly. Visdum’s integration with our HubSpot CRM is really helpful as this means that my team no longer has to manually switch between multiple spreadsheets or platforms. The data sync between HubSpot CRM and Visdum is effortless.Within just two months of integrating Visdum with our system, the number of commission related disputes have gone down by 40%.

Pros

Visdum enables seamless communication through features like approvals, queries/dispute resolution, and statement uploads within a unified system.
Visdum offers exceptional customer support. Whenever I request customization of our workflow or reporting, their team promptly addresses the request and prioritizes it in their development queue.
The Visdum team is proactive in enhancing our analytics and streamlining approval processes based on our needs, demonstrating their commitment to supporting our workflow effectively.

Cons

While the platform is great, the reporting tools need greater simplicity and agility to navigate custom inquiries, as creating tailored insights currently demands a steeper learning curve.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Visdum to to manage sales commissions at my organization. Visdum integrates with our CRM and accounting systems to help with timely, accurate, and transparent payouts. Sales reps can easily review what contributes to their monthly pay. Visdum also simplifies the comprehension of the formulas used to calculate incentives for each deal.

Pros

It automates the whole sales commissions process such that everyone saves time - Sales, Finance, and Operations.
We can resolve commission related inquiries within Visdum. There is no need for us to use email or slack. This makes communication with the Finance team smooth.
Visdum’s gamification feature is incredible - it motivates our reps to stay on top of their game consistently. The leaderboards are a huge hit on the sales floor.

Cons

I would love to see some more flexibility around customization of reports.

It excels in scenarios where incentive structures are subject to frequent changes, as updates are promptly notified within the system. Visdum is also beneficial for accessing historical data, as it allows for downloading details from the previous year. The platform is also great at modeling complex plans for sales teams spread across verticals and geographies. It’s a great tool to bring out your sales teams’ competitive spirit. I’m yet to see where Visdum falters.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Visdum to calculate sales commissions and manage payouts. It integrates with our QuickBooks invoicing system & HubSpot CRM to sync commissions data, without having to manually update this in multiple places. Visdum allows the entire team to have more visibility into how commissions are calculated each month.

Pros

Sales comp plan modeling - Visdum takes into account our complex sales commission plans and allows us to model our plans to accommodate multiple sales roles and make adjustments even mid-way through the year.
Visdum's built-in ASC 606 reporting features help us stay on top of compliance standards.
We've been able to decrease commission related disputes by 60% since implementing Visdum. Payout statements on Visdum are detailed such that sales reps have a clear understanding of their earnings.

Cons

The UI could use a facelift
As an admin, I love the flexibility the platform provides but I wish the reports were a bit more customizable.

Visdum is an ideal sales incentive compensation management software for companies that have complex sales commission structures. The platform has greatly helped us by acclimatizing itself to our unique sales comp needs and the customer success and product team has gone above and beyond to even incorporate additional features.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Visdum saves a lot of time in process and commission computation vs what we used to do in excel sheets. No need to maintain data over drive. Historical reports can be pulled out. Best part is that all sales teams data whether their current and historical comp plans, quota and variable details, payout reports are available in one single system instead of sitting in silos it used to be when this process was manual.
