Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Vimeo to upload our education videos to a learning management system for medical staff to view. Vimeo has provided my team the appropriate links and measurement data that shows viewing trends on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis. I am also able to use the links in Vimeo to track and locate lectures in our LMS by using specific links to curate and store. So far, I have not experienced anything bad from Vimeo when I upload the medical lectures. The process to upload the lectures is quite simple, and our editing team does a great job in making sure the lectures are deleted and reuploaded after they have been edited.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

In my company we use Vimeo to store and share all the viewers publish in our platform. In my case we needed a reliable platform that could use for years along, be easy to use and have some features that allow us to use videos in different situations. Vimeo attends all of our needs.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Vimeo to host all of our livestreamed worship gatherings as well as any announcement videos or event videos that we post to Facebook or our website. We prefer Vimeo to YouTube for remote hosting of our video content that has a cleaner interface and no interruptions from ads.
We also use Vimeo for other random video hosting, with appropriate folders to keep everything separated properly.
Vimeo Premium gives us all of the tools we need to have our livestream function well. We have all the room we need for hosting, and it is an easy tool to embed in our website.

Pros

Vimeo has a clean and intuitive interface
Vimeo is consistently updating and upgrading their backend
Vimeo does not require ad support that clutters videos
Vimeo Premium provides robust livestream options

Cons

Some of Vimeo's backend updates don't always get communicated clearly
Some more in-depth tools for video hosting are harder to find in Vimeo's user-friendly GUI
Pricing is a little high for the services provided
Vimeo's storage limit could be raised a bit for higher-paying tiers

Vimeo made it easier for our volunteers and staff to get involved in hosting and sharing video content
The cost of Vimeo is easily absorbed by the weekly Livestream benefits

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I have used Vimeo to produce training for a small mastermind on a weekly level. I've also used it for webinars and replays of that webinar. I've used it to host courses for my business and have videos available without ads, which I really like. I was first using YouTube to do videos for my business, but I didn't like the ads appearing even for those who have paid for my courses and memberships. Vimeo is a clean-looking platform and easy to embed in my courses.

It allows me to have private links.
It allows ad-free watching.
It is a clean-looking more professional platform.

Cons

It would be nice to have an editing tool where you can edit the video right within Vimeo and not have to go to another platform to do that.
It would be nice to have a feature that separates audio from video, as Zoom does.
It would be nice to use it for going LIVE on Facebook or other social media.

Return on Investment

Being able to provide a replay of a webinar has given me a chance to reach two to three times the people that show up live.
It is priced very reasonably for all that it offers.
It lets me look more professional by having a place to host that looks very clean and pro.

We use Vimeo as the place to house all our video content that we share out to potential students and their families as well as current students. By using Vimeo we are able to avoid having ads from competing institutions come before our video pieces. There was nothing more frustrating than having another school's ad play before our piece.

Sometimes when trying to upload from a mobile phone it can be clunky and hard to accomplish.
