Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Prior to Veeva our system was incredibly outdated. Veeva has made managing files and projects very easy. It's straightforward and easy to find what you need if you are willing to poke around a bit. My team is very helpful and can always answer the questions and problems I might encounter. I only touch on a tiny bit of Veeva's capability, but I wish I knew/used more of the features. Definitely a great program and it's exactly what we need.

Pros

  • Upload files quick and easily with drag and drop feature
  • Easy to sign in as myself and as a delegate for someone else
  • Easy to communicate with my team on projects

Cons

  • I'm not crazy about how quickly I get timed out

Great tool! Need to keep up with enhancements to stay relevant and competitive

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

My organization uses Veeva with our client(s) in the Pharma industry for content and campaign management and communicating approvals across partner agencies. From early collab documents through 2253 submission, Veeva is the lynchpin in collaborating across agencies and client groups for an effective, single source for campaign planning, creation and approval.

Pros

  • Document management
  • Multi-agency notifications
  • Approvals for appropriate teams

Cons

  • Tasks cannot be requested, so outside communication is needed
  • Notifications or tagging of external email for follow up
  • Rendering issues on document visualizer after upload creates delays in approvals

Likelihood to Recommend

As a leading platform for the Pharma space, Veeva Vault is a fantastic option if clients/your company is maintaining a focus on continuous improvement as the tool is updated and enhancements are released. As with all things tech, if the instance you have is dated or uses older capabilities, it is a challenge to maintain competitive speed to market. “More, Faster, Cheaper” is dependent on your tech stack and your willingness to accept the challenges and pain of releasing new functionality. Veeva can offer these capabilities but executing on rolling more contemporary solutions is the keystone issue whether Veeva will be a tool or a risk to your team.
