Great product for those that need a little or no IT specialists or want to outsource their back office

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

V2 Cloud is being used across the whole organization as our exclusive virtual desktop infrastructure solution. With the work from home mode of operations now relevant post the Covid 19 pandemic, it was critical we found a solution for our colleagues. V2 Cloud after rigorous research and search came up tops as the solution that would best fit our business and future corporate development.

Pros

  • Excellent after sales customer service.
  • Ease of uploading and populating the virtual desktop.
  • A solution that allows us to focus on what we do best and takes care of the back end.

Cons

  • Download process could be more efficient by allowing files to be cleaned out of the download folder in the virtual environment without cloning files.

Likelihood to Recommend

It is suited for multiple users in different locations all working virtually. Not too great where it does not have a server close to the timezone of these users.

Due to the current health climate, we have transitioned our accounting firm to the cloud and decided to do so with V2 Cloud. V2 Cloud is reliable and it has worked well with a current staff of 6. It is user friendly and allows for data and screen sharing capabilities. Customer service is very quick to respond to any inquiries and they are open to helping with any issues or questions. It is also very well priced and we are happy with our decision to move forward with V2 cloud.

V2 is great for companies that have remote employees and need to keep data safe on the net or do not provide their employees with company equipment. Collaboration is great.

It is being used across the organization. It allows the providers and medical assistants to move between exam rooms without having to carry laptops around and [has] the ability to stay logged in to the electronic health record and other apps. It improves workflow, productivity, and saves us money compared to other products.

  • Ease of log on could be better.
  • There is a slight lag when typing and scrolling through pages compared with a regular desktop.
  • Sometimes I am logged out of the cloud desktop for no apparent reason.

Likelihood to Recommend

It is useful if the user needs to be connected to the same desktop from multiple locations. It is not useful for our receptionist and biller who sit at the same desktop.

V2 Cloud is currently being used by the whole organization and is set up as virtual machines that can be accessed anywhere and share documents and software with all users. We have contractors in another country that is able to access the company's tools through V2 Cloud. It addresses the problems of hosting software that is not on the cloud but all users require access to it as well as solving how to share files across the organization.

  • Set up of root files/folders in a shared drive accessible by everyone and not a cloud drive

We got a quote from a local IT company that was out of our budget. The local IT company even recommended a different setup because they said that a virtual server is too expensive for a start-up company. However, we knew we wanted to be on the cloud and have a virtual setup. We found out about V2 through another business owner who was happy with the service. The prices with V2 are very reasonable, it was easy to set up and add users, and it's been working well for us.

I purchased V2 Cloud for myself to use when I was away from my desk at work and for general computing for one of my side businesses. It is an excellent solution for people who are looking for a cloud computer without the restrictions of installing programs and needing in-depth knowledge in IT to set up. I use it daily and have not ever had any connection issues nor any issues when using the system. Their support is excellent with a response within minutes at any time of the day. I would very highly recommend V2 Cloud.

  • Had issues with iOS application for connecting to the VM; however, I prefer using remote desktop connection

Likelihood to Recommend

Excellent when not in the office--I can connect to the computer anywhere and anytime on another computer, laptop, iPad or phone. It is also really good to have your computer when you need it if you are using another computer at another office or location. It can be a bit laggy if you have a slow internet connection (or obviously if you have no internet connection).
