What is Truecaller for Business?
Truecaller’s Verified Business Caller ID aims to enhance the calling experience for users and businesses by making businesses more credible to users and negating identity theft and phishing scams. The solution is designed to improve call pick-up rates, manage business numbers and get deeper insights on campaigns.
Scammers are crafty, and can pretend to be trusted businesses. Important calls from phone service provider, for example, are sometimes not answered because of these ‘fake’ callers pretending to be businesses.
So, to reduce the amount of spammers pretending to be real businesses, Truecaller has added the green Caller ID. By seeing the green Caller ID, one knows that the entity calling has been verified. This will both reduce spam, and make sure that the important calls go through.
Truecaller's spam algorithms continue to work in the same way and the Truecaller global community of over 270 million active users will be able to mark calls that are potentially spam/scam/sales calls, even if they have a verified badge and Caller ID.
