Top loadboard for brokers

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Truckstop is one of the best Loadboards available today.
It only helps us find trucks for our loads but it’s also has many other goods functionalities such as Credit Check, carrier rating for CPR Verification, ITS Dispatch (CRM), Market rate trends and much more.
We have used it over the years to provide instant quotations to customers as well.

Pros

  • It has an onboard Rate check tool for latest lane rates.
  • Shipper credit check can be done as well.
  • It has a vast carrier database for use.

Cons

  • The market trends fluctuate so fast, so the rates need to be updated according to seasons and availability. Due to this reason many users migrate to Power DAT.
  • Certain types of trucks such as Hopperbottom and Power Only are very difficult to find.

Likelihood to Recommend

Truckstop can be used as a goto Loadboard for instant rates but the data is becoming less reliable. It’s needs to be worked on.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use this load board to find loads to haul and to post our trucks availablity.

Pros

  • List available loads
  • List loads by category
  • List loads time last posted
  • List broker contact info

Cons

  • Too many windows open to check details of a load
  • old loads are not taken down for days
  • Screen is not as friendly as other load boards
  • Not easy on the eyes...too busy

Likelihood to Recommend

When I am looking to find a load for our trucks, I would use DAT load board first. I go on Truckstop.com to find loads, just in case there might be a load posted that doesn't appear on the DAT. In my opinion, Truckstop.com has too many windows open when I'm looking for more details on a particular load.
