Todoist is a wonderful tool to use for our organization's HR department as we have many moving parts to our day to day operations. In order to keep organized and complete long term projects at their calendared completion, I use Todoist as a task tracking by priority. Each day to day items is created as to keep a record, and "one-off" tasks are thrown into Todoist when approached to me via e-mail, word of mouth, or hand-written messages. Todoist is used as a tikler for Biweekly, Monthly, Quartley, and Yearly items that are of the upmost importance to the business and our department. Aside from work, Todoist is a great tool to use for home, especially if you are a full-time working parent with young children.

Todoist is great

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I'm a Director at our company and have a ton of different tasks to do during the day. Todoist is easy to use and great when I need to make tasks on the fly and remind myself to do things. I can use Siri and computer shortcuts to easily mind dump my thoughts into a task to look into later.

Pros

  • Keyboard Shortcuts
  • Dictating to Siri to add a task
  • Adding tasks directly to my calendar

Cons

  • I'd like to see sub-tasks handled a bit differently. It's tough to see the breakout of tasks right from the page.

Return on Investment

  • Things are done in a more timely manner

Splendid tool for tracking and managing tasks

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Todoist in our organization helps with efficient planning, tracking and solving tasks. Compared to other solutions, its big advantage is the integration with other systems (Asana, Outlook), a light application and the possibility of entering tasks and deadlines using natural language. For the entire time of using the program, we are delighted and have no significant reservations.

Pros

  • Task tracking
  • Task planning
  • Desktop app

Cons

  • Mobile app

Return on Investment

  • Project deadlines met more often
  • Growth of company boosted
  • 10 % higher speed of projects

Todoist is all you need to get things done!

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Todoist to communicate with my contract graphic designer. This keeps track of project threads and file uploads. Much better then dealing with this through email alone. Search feature is great too.

Pros

  • Quick Project setup
  • uploading and downloading files
  • Email notifications
  • Quick at a glance review of all projects

Cons

  • would be cool to 'complete' projects and delete them as well through email.
  • I've experienced issues with outages before which really messed things up. Rather it just be offline then online and not function properly such as missed messages.
  • Would be great to 'mark up' pdf and other files right through the app.

Return on Investment

  • 250% increase in business since using. Not sure how much of this increase is directly attributed to Todoist
