Our entire organization, Radiant Kids Therapy, utilizes TheraNest - from treating clinicians to clerical staff. Clinicians also use the TheraNest app to complete therapy documentation during home visits.

TheraNest is appropriate for clinical practice and seems well-suited for providing speech-language and other allied health services. Without firsthand experience billing, it is difficult to provide input regarding the ease of billing with this software. I have yet to see how TheraNest would work for clients with multiple insurance types. I trialed the TheraNest video conferencing near the beginning of 2020 (start of global pandemic), but the feature had glitches and I have since discontinued use of this feature.

TheraNest is the PMS that our entire company uses. Counselors and administrative staff professionals utilize the software to track sessions, billing, and clinical data. Given that is it cloud-based, TheraNest allows us the opportunity to stay connected to our clients and staff at all times (even when the wifi is down, we can use another data source.)

TheraNest seems well suited for a provider just getting started who is interested in an all-in-one software to assist with client tracking, scheduling, and billing. However, it may not be well suited for a large provider group with multiple departments that are in need of many features such as accounting reports and itemized billing.

We have two Mental Health programs that use TheraNest to bill their therapy clients. This solved our issue during COVID of not being able to collect payments in person. We now can have the client log in to their own portal and pay their invoices with ease.

TheraNest is great for keeping a calendar of past and upcoming appointments. You can have client profiles, make invoices, send invoices to the client's email, and collect payment all on the site.
