Love me some TextExpander
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
I am on the sales team, so I use TextExpander to add in templates for emails, quickly add links, and ensure I've spelled things correctly. Having to constantly check for the right link to this walkthrough, that account set up page, this trial, that meeting link, super tedious. With TextExpander I can just drop them in where I need them and always know they're right.
Pros
- keeps the integrity of a link I need to use safe
- allows me to use consistent language
- reduces my risk of typos in commonly sent language or links
- saves my meeting links for me all in one place
Cons
- would love to see it look a little more modern
- team edit abilities are a bit tricky
- would like the rich text space to look better
Likelihood to Recommend
For users who live in a specific app that already allows for templates, TextExpander might not be the best fit. Even then though, you are generally limited to one template per message. TextExpander is great because it carries across all platforms I use. I can use it to drop into emails, browsers, slack convos, etc seamlessly. Really anyone who is consistently using the same language, links, or info would be in the ICP for TextExpander.
