Use Cases and Deployment Scope

It is used in all of the buildings in our school district. It transmits information across all grade levels and is updated daily. Students and teachers alike have input on its content. We currently have three monitors in our middle school and each contains current school info as well as weather, etc.

Pros

  • Customer service is outstanding.
  • The product is user-friendly.

Cons

  • None!

Likelihood to Recommend

Very well suited to any industry, but specifically in education, it is appealing to the students and staff. It's eye catching and the video components are especially relevant to our student population.

We use TelemetryTV across our school district on a daily basis for communication with our community, but it also gives us another avenue of communication in event of emergency.

  • Tremendous customer support
  • Excellent templates

  • Better explanation of difference between board and playlist

It is well suited for education, for providing access to communicate with our school's parents. It provides schools the ability to customize their displays to what is best suited for their particular buildings.

It is being used as a TV signage solution to display information to students and staff members on campus. We use it for school news, presentations, event info, and sometimes broadcast videos though it. We use it on about 10 TVs throughout the building. It solves the problem of needing easy to use TV signage and easy to configure TV signage.

Pros

  • Easy setup with a G Suite domain.
  • Detailed board and display options.
  • Updates boards and displays can be done on the fly and update instantly.

Cons

  • Automatic updates, Sometimes these cause a device to crash and they have to be force restarted.

Likelihood to Recommend

Setting up in a building where you need TV signage with dynamic content that is simple to modify. Telemetry would be good for this because it is all centrally cloud-managed allowing for quick and easy changes. Telemetry TV can be set up with any TV and Chromebox device which allows for ease of setup as well.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Stanpac Inc. uses Telemetry as one way to communicate with its employees. We have six screens, 5 in Canada and 1 in the USA. Each screen is in a different department with the exception of the customer entry foyer. We post employee-related information, up comping events, birthdays, promotions, etc.

Pros

  • Easy to learn, easy to set up.
  • More than one user can access and make edits, add new material, etc.
  • Good assortment of communication Apps.
  • Excellent online help/chat function. Click on the chat icon and someone responds promptly.
  • Low maintenance, once it's set up it just keeps running.

Cons

  • Its a simple set up, I honestly can't think of anything that it's lacking.

Likelihood to Recommend

Telemetry works well with basic communications. If you have a TV screen set up in a high traffic area you can add and remove info on the fly. It will update within minutes. Also, several users can make edits as needed.

Easy platform to use in our School

We use telemetry Tv to get information out to our students and staff. We have a television mounted in the lobby and the slide show is streamed to the lobby to keep all the members of our community informed of upcoming events, weather, great things happening in our building among other things. TelemetryTV solves the problem of needing a platform for us to create interesting and informative slides to show.

  • The look of TelemetryTV.
  • Ease of use.
  • Price.

Cons

  • There is nothing I think they need improvement on at the moment.
  • When I have made suggestions they have altered the item so align with my idea.

Likelihood to Recommend

I can't think of any situation where TelemetryTV is not appropriate for use in an organization. Each board is able to be altered to suit every type of organization. We are able to stream to tv in our lobby and it keeps our staff and students informed of upcoming events.

Hallway sign kiosks that give out valuable information on current events.

Pros

  • Best digital signage for Education
  • Easy to display images, docs, event banners.
  • Customizing the boards and layouts was a must. They offer that an more. No extra expense.

Cons

  • Nothing needed from our end!

Displays are put throughout the building to give students the ability to see current events and real-time updates.
